Once a vessel has reached the limit of it’s original life span calculations can be made to elongate the usage of the vessel. By knowing the measured thickness of the vessel Disasu Software can re-rate the vessel to meet current code requirements.

The vessel’s life span can be increased by repurposing it for new usage.

 Disasu can also re-rate existing vessels built after 1968 wth a safety factor of 4 to meet the current code safety factor of 3½. More corrosion allowance will be made available on existing vessels by re-rating older vessels.
